The 5-second-Rule

5-4-3-2-1

Mel Robbins. says that unless we act on doing something within 5 seconds chances are we will delay, further delay or completely abandon that idea or task. I am guilty as charged on this front! At first I thought this was rather silly, but decided to practice with to-do's I am good at delaying or abandoning. I simply count 5....4....3....2...1....and DO IT WITHOUT DELAY. It's highly effective. I've learned a new GOOD habit.
